Class Description

This course is designed for all Law Enforcement Officers and Agents who contact subjects that use, control or transport narcotics. Students begin by developing sound and court proven patrol tactics before taking to the streets. Next, they will acquire the ability to identify and articulate subject, vehicle and document indicators of criminal activity found during urban traffic stops and consensual encounters. Instructors help students maneuver through the always changing and sometimes cloudy legal system of consent, probable cause and warrants before conducting case studies.
