Detective Barry Fitchew has been a peace Officer for more than 35 years and has recently retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He worked sheriff’s Narcotics Bureau for the past 19 years and has worked a wide variety of assignments ranging from undercover street buys to working Major-level drug traffickers. His last assignment was on the highly successful LA IMPACT task force and over the years has been assigned to several other task force that provided him a vast knowledge of Mexican based drug trafficking organizations. Detective Fitchew has taught multiple classes over the years for CNOA, his department and other Law Enforcement agencies throughout Southern California.
