Mark Richards retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after 34 years of service. While working for the sheriff’s department, Mark worked a variety of assignments including patrol, custody, investigations and several assignments at the department’s Training Bureau. During Mark’s law enforcement career, he developed several drug influence and drug detection related classes for both his department, CNOA, and for the private businesses. During Mark’s law enforcement career, he was a certified DRE and DRE instructor. Mark is a life-time member of CNOA has been a staff instructor for CNOA’s DAR course for the past 16 years.
