Class Description
This course will explain the different levels of murder, voluntary and involuntary manslaughter, 2nd degree and 1st degree murder, the Felony 187 rule, the current death penalty situation in California, and justifiable homicide. Mike will also discuss the most common mistakes homicide detectives make while trying to file murder cases, real evidence that can be utilized in court vs what is perceived as evidence, how to perform in court and why this step in the prosecution is so critical.
